What can I use Grantmaker for?

In addition to grants, Fluxx Grantmaker helps you and your team manage various types of applications – including contracts, scholarships and fellowships, awards, employee matching gifts, Program-Related Investments (PRIs), and Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) – all with configurable forms, fields and workflow controls. It also includes powerful tools for project and contact management, reporting and visualizations, and document creation and management, so everything you need is at your fingertips.

How do I implement it?

Every Grantmaker client receives comprehensive implementation services and resources. Our proven, agile process is led by project managers and technical experts who ensure ongoing learning and success for your whole team. Generally, implementation takes between two to six months, depending on the complexity of your configuration. Grantmaker includes everything you need to get started – from migration of existing data and documents, to translation of current processes, all the way through to user testing, validation, and post-launch stabilization.

Is Grantmaker secure?

Absolutely. Our cloud-based infrastructure takes advantage of the Amazon Web Services platform, which maintains ISO 27001 certification and publishes a SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 reports. While most clients choose to host their sites in a multi-tenant environment – taking advantage of shared resources and scheduled releases – you can also choose private provisioning for added control and dedicated resources.

Any organization that funds programs and projects dedicated to social good can benefit from Grantmaker. While many clients are foundations, others come from a wide range of nonprofits (including medical research and publicly supported organizations) as well as corporate and government clients.

What kind of training and support can I expect?

Our training and support plans empower you and your team to manage and maintain your Grantmaker site long after implementation. Each implementation includes dedicated training, customized to your specific configuration, for end users and system administrators alike. In addition, our dedicated support team is available Monday through Friday, from 6a.m. PST to 5p.m. PST for any questions, tasks, or troubleshooting you might need. We also provide a robust Knowledge Base, regular training webinars, and a dedicated Community site for users to share ideas, materials, and best practices.
