We’ll kick off FluxxCon with a warm welcome, a look at the days ahead, and a grounding in why we’ve gathered in Chicago—on this land, in this moment, and as a cross-sector community. You’ll meet your hosts and community hosts, get oriented to the sessions, tracks, and experiences designed to help you make the most of your time together, and learn about opportunities to connect and give back through community activations throughout FluxxCon. Most importantly, we’ll set the stage for two days of learning, connection, and action—and the role each of us can play in turning shared ideas, data, and experiences into greater collective impact.
Kristy Gannon is the Chief Executive Officer of Fluxx, where she leads the company's vision and strategy for advancing grants management technology. Over the past 13 years, she has been instrumental in shaping Fluxx's platform and supporting the growth of its philanthropic community, which now distributes more than $39 billion annually. Before becoming CEO, she led product strategy and helped scale the company in senior operational and product leadership roles. Kristy began her career in engineering and product roles at Cisco Systems, Analog Devices, and Maxim Integrated, and is based in San Francisco.
Kerrin Mitchell, co-founder and Chief Development Officer of Fluxx, has been instrumental in shaping the company's vision and driving its success since its founding in 2010. Fluxx is a transformative technology platform empowering social and public sector organizations and has facilitated the distribution of over $39 billion in private and public funds in the past year alone. Her work has earned recognition from prominent outlets such as Forbes, San Francisco Business Times, and Elle. Kerrin's career began at Cisco Systems, where she worked in finance before transitioning into philanthropy-focused technology. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University (1997–2001) and is based in Kailua, Hawaii.
