Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter: Grantseeker is officially joining Fluxx to help build and shape the future of grantmaking.

When I first took the helm at Grantseeker, I asked our customers two simple questions: 

• What do we do well that you never want us to stop doing?
• What can we improve to make your work easier?

Their answers defined our path. Customers described Grantseeker as the “least painful on the brain” software they had ever used, a daily tool that felt intuitive and easy. At the same time, they wanted more enterprise-grade capabilities with deeper workflows, stronger compliance tools, and integrations that could stand up to real-world complexity.

Over the last couple of years, we’ve listened closely and built intentionally. That focus has shaped Grantseeker into a modern platform that helps grant seekers manage their entire grant-seeking journey. It assists with everything from prospecting and proposals to tracking awards, reporting, and compliance. Our focus has always been simple: reduce complexity so teams can stay organized and devote more energy to their missions.

Fluxx customers are already leading the way in transforming how foundations, government agencies, and nonprofit grantmaking organizations manage the funding process with Grantmaker. Now, by adding Grantseeker, we’re extending that innovation to grantseekers as well. Our goal is to help build a more connected granting landscape where funders and seekers can work together more easily and the entire lifecycle of funding is visible in one place.

What This Means for Fluxx Customers

Over the past several months, the Fluxx leadership team and I have spent significant time aligning on what this acquisition means for our customers and how to ensure it strengthens, rather than disrupts the experience you already know and trust.

Together, we came to a shared understanding: this transition created real tangible benefits for the Fluxx community.

• Less friction with grantees: When your partners use Grantseeker, reporting gets cleaner, collaboration is smoother, and compliance is easier to track.
• A complete view of the lifecycle: Grantmaker continues to be the source of truth for funders. Grantseeker extends that transparency across the entire funding loop.
• Support for dual-role organizations: Many of you are both funders and recipients of grants. Grantseeker gives you a modern way to manage the dollars coming in while still using Grantmaker for funding and grantmaking purposes.

It’s important to note: Kristy Gannon and the Fluxx leadership team wanted to be clear that this transition does not change Fluxx’s commitment to Grantmaker. Grantmaker remains Fluxx’s flagship solution, with its own dedicated product and engineering teams who will continue to focus fully on the innovation and roadmap they’ve already shared with you. Additionally, Grantseeker will also retain its own product and engineering teams, ensuring that both platforms continue to evolve with focus, speed, and purpose.

This acquisition is about making both sides stronger. With separate teams but shared direction, we can move faster and give customers a more seamless, end-to-end experience.

How Grantseeker Has Evolved

The Grantseeker you know today is not the same product that spun out years ago. We rebuilt it from the ground up on a modern architecture, guided entirely by customer feedback:

• Human-friendly usability: Personalized homepages, fewer clicks, and intuitive workflows.
• Enterprise-ready power: Multi-account structures for complex organizations, robust post-award management, and strong compliance features.
• Flexible configuration: Custom fields, views, and reporting that adapt to how your organization actually works.

Grantseeker has become a platform that is simple to adopt, powerful to scale, and designed to reduce the administrative burden of seeking and managing grants.

Looking Ahead

Grantseeker’s roadmap is focused on three themes:

• Seamless integration between Grantmaker and Grantseeker.
• Smarter compliance and reporting tools to ease regulatory and audit requirements.
• Human-friendly automation that eliminates repetitive data entry and frees teams to focus on impact.

Together, Fluxx Grantmaker and Grantseeker aim to deliver the most complete end-to-end grants management experience on the market to connect both sides of the process with shared visibility, data, and purpose.

The Future We’re Building Together

For all current customers, whether of Fluxx Grantmaker or Grantseeker, nothing changes today. Your logins, data, support, and pricing remain exactly as they are. 

What does change is the opportunity ahead. This next chapter isn’t just about two products under one roof, it’s about creating a more connected philanthropic network. One that reduces friction, strengthens compliance, and brings transparency across the full lifecycle so dollars can move where they matter most, faster and with greater impact.
